Kapri 2

Access control by RFID and QR code

Online terminal using QR code and RFID (cards, wristbands or key rings). Works with Cloud protocol, direct connectivity to the cloud. For access control and time control solutions Sports centres. – Access control: sports centres, companies, restricted areas, trade fairs and conferences. – Time&Attendance control: recording of working hours in companies.

Features

• Terminal with QR code reader

Kapri is a terminal that reads QR codes and barcodes. It sends the information to the application responsible for interpreting the QR code data.

• Mifare/Desfire reader

Users are identified by the Kimaldi LEXA RFID reader.

• Graphic IPS screen 2.4” and touch keyboard

Kapri terminal has a 2.4" IPS graphic display with excellent visibility from all angles.

It has a 4-key capacitive keypad and a beeper.

• 3 relays and 4 digital inputs

Kapri terminal includes 3 relays that can be used to activate electric locks, turnstiles, barriers, alarms, or other types of devices.

The terminal's 4 digital inputs can be used to monitor the status of door sensors, limit switches, etc.
The device has an anti-tamper sensor that detects any tampering with the terminal.

• Ethernet y Wifi connection

The device connects via its Ethernet port, and communication with the application is always carried out by exchanging JSON objects. Device integration is straightforward regardless of the programming language or operating system.

• CLOUD Procotol: direct connectivity with the cloud

Most suitable option for extranet web applications. Kapri initiates communications and, when an event occurs, sends a POST command to the cloud application/API server. In response, the application sends a set of commands to be executed by the terminal, such as displaying messages on the screen and activating relays to allow access.
This cloud protocol is characterised by:

– The Kapri terminal initiates all communications.
– Communications are secure when the cloud uses the https protocol.
– No drivers, .DLLs or services need to be installed.
– The application does not need to know the terminal's IP address.
– Easy installation. No local installation required.

• Other protocols for working within the LAN

Kapri terminal offers the following communication protocols:

- JSON-TCP/IP
- KTP
- HTTP
